The queen had six daughters: Meritaten, Meketaten, Ankhesenpaaten (later known as Ankhesenamun), Neferneferuaten Tasherit, Neferneferure, and Setepenre. These princesses grew up in the midst of Akhenaten’s revolutionary period, transitioning from the polytheistic traditional Egyptian beliefs to the monotheistic Aten cult.
